Local, Friendly and Fresh. Flowers like food, should be fresh and of the best quality, locally sourced when they can, and unique. We like to talk to our customers, help them accomplish what they are setting out to do and believe in flexibility. Our designers goal is to interpret your vison, listen to your needs and help suggest options, given any occasion or budget.
Farm to table…you betcha! The flowers on your table should be free of pesticides and harvested sustainably as well. We cherish our relationship with our local growers and farmers as they are the key to helping us provide the most outstanding and beautiful flowers the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Originally created in 2005 by artist Jeanie Gray as Goose Hollow Gardens, the neighborhood shop became a wonderful compliment to the Goose Hollow neighborhood. After dabbling in floral for many years and training with her mentor Jeannie Gray, Current Owner/Floral Designer Michelle Clark took the plunge to leave the corporate world after the birth of her son and bought the shop in 2007. Michelle’s past experience as an Event planner, Wedding coordinator and Convention Sales manager in the hotel Industry gives her an expert edge on what it takes to make each event spectacular. After surviving the rocky years when the economy took a dive and as her son Oliver grew and started school, Michelle changed the name in 2013 to Goose Hollow Flowers. Coming up on 10 years in business in 2015, Goose Hollow Flowers is now thriving and continues to be a gem in the field of the growing floral economy in Portland.
