About Us

Philosophy

Local, Friendly and Fresh. Northwest Flowers like food, should be fresh and of the best quality, locally sourced, and unique. We like to talk to our customers, help them accomplish what they are setting out to do and believe in flexibility. Our designer’s goal is to interpret your vision, listen to your needs and help suggest options, given any occasion or budget.

Farm to table…you betcha! The flowers on your table should be free of pesticides and sustainable as well. We cherish our relationship with our local growers and farmers as they are the key to helping us provide the most outstanding and beautiful flowers the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

History

Originally created in 2005 by artist Jeanie Gray as Goose Hollow Gardens, the neighborhood shop became a wonderful compliment to the Goose Hollow neighborhood. After dabbling in floral for many years and training with her mentor Jeannie Gray, Current Owner/ Floral Designer Michelle Kenny took the plunge and bought the shop in 2007. Michelle’s past experience in the Hotel industry as an Event planner, Wedding coordinator and Convention Sales manager, gives her an expert edge on what it takes to make each event spectacular. 2013 brought the year of re-branding and in order to better reflect the primary vision of the shop, the name was changed to Goose Hollow Flowers. One of Downtown Portland’s best hidden gems, Goose Hollow Flowers continues to grow and thrive.
